Description:

Through roll forming, a cold work hardening layer is formed on the rolled surface, which reduces the elastic and plastic deformation of the contact surface of the grinding sub, thus improving the wear resistance of the inner wall of the quilted tube, while avoiding the burns caused by grinding. The reduction of surface roughness value after rolling improves the nature of the fit. Rolling is a chipless process that uses the plastic deformation of metal at room temperature to flatten the microscopic unevenness of the workpiece surface so as to change the surface structure, mechanical properties, shape and size. Therefore, this method can achieve both finishing and strengthening purposes, which cannot be achieved by grinding. |
