1. Cold drawing process
This process is suitable for producing high-precision and high surface finish stainless steel bars. The stainless steel blank material is drawn to the required diameter and length through a cold drawing machine, exceeding the limit of plastic deformation, thereby achieving a significant improvement in surface finish.
Advantages: High production efficiency and relatively low cost.
Disadvantage: Not suitable for producing large-diameter stainless steel bars.
2. Hot rolling process
This process is suitable for producing large-diameter stainless steel bars. The stainless steel raw material is rolled into the desired diameter and length through preheating and hot rolling machines, and then trimmed by cooling treatment and trimming equipment to obtain the required specifications of stainless steel bars.
Advantages: Suitable for producing large-diameter stainless steel bars.
Disadvantages: Relatively high production cost, large surface roughness of stainless steel bars produced
3: Forging
Forging is a processing method that uses impact force or pressure to deform metal between two anvil blocks, in order to obtain the desired shape and size. It can change the internal structure of metals and improve the performance of materials. The forging of stainless steel round bars is usually carried out at high temperatures, which can increase the plasticity of the material and make it easier to form
